Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) is an engineering university of Orissa. The university is located at Rourkela and all the Engineering colleges in Orissa are BPUT affiliated. Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Orissa, established in November 2002 under act of the Government. Its head-quarters in Rourkela. BPUT create wealth and prosperity in the society through application of technical knowledge. Various courses like engineering, pharmacy, architecture, MBA degree programmes are being offered from BPUT affilation as well. BPUT University has 156 colleges with around 1,20,000 students.
